Forecast values do not convert to Actuals in the Targeting area. This has to be updated separately by an Admin when Accounts confirm payment to ensure accurate figures. Forecasts should be marked Successful or Unsuccessful to remove these from the forecast calculations, prior to the Actuals being updated. See Adding a Forecast on how to do this.
On the menu bar, hover over Tools and click Targeting. Fig.1. Click Actuals/Targets.
Please note - if departments are not relevant to your CRM, please ignore any reference to departments in this section.
Months navigated, user/type/department filters can be applied and export functions can all be accessed on the left hand side Fig.2 (1)
Under the appropriate month, update the Actual field of the appropriate user. The field is a numerical field, so if you have a total Actual, overwrite the figure in the field, otherwise add the new value to the existing value Fig.2 (2). Click Save. Fig 2 (3). If the deal is split over multiple months, the value can be split over multiple months, navigate between months, clicking Save after each month.
