Selecting Single Contact to Export
Load appropriate contact from quick search. Click 'Merge' Fig.1. Click 'Excel' Fig.2.
Please note - this will only export a single contact chosen from the business, not all contacts from the chosen business. If you want multiple contacts, use the Advanced Search as detailed below.
Selecting Mutiple Contacts and fields to Export
In Search, the buttons at the top affect which fields can be exported from a record Fig.3 (1) e.g. to see Sales information, click Sales. Apply applicable filters Fig.3 (2), click 'Search' Fig.3 (3), select at least one record using the check boxes Fig.3 (4) or all Fig.3 (5), click 'Excel' Fig.3 (6).
Select the appropriate fields to export - only orange fields will be exported. On the left there are instructions on how to highlight the fields for PC & Mac users, plus links to 'Select all' or 'Clear all' Fig.4 (1).
If you are regularly exporting set fields, you can create an export template, by choosing your desired fields, complete Template Name Fig.4 (2)and click 'Save'(3). On the next export you can then use Template Select Fig.4 (4) to find your template and click 'Load' Fig.4 (5).
Click 'Order' to set the order of the fields in your export. Fig.4 (6)
Click to drag and drop fields to the desired placement. Fig.5 (1) Click 'Export' Fig.5 (2)
When your export is ready, click the Download link Fig.6 (1). Dependent upon the number of contacts this may take some time. Click the downloaded file to open and save to a relevant location. Fig.6 (2)
