YapCRM has merge functionality to send emails, SMSs, produce letters etc. in built to multiple contacts or to individuals, with the ability to setup templates if required.
Load the contact, click 'Merge' Fig.1, click chosen output e.g. Doc, Email, Excel, Label, SMS or PDF Fig.2.
Using Search, filter options as required, and select at least one record using the check boxes Fig.3. or to select all the records from your search click the tick box in the header Fig.4 (1). Click 'Merge', click chosen output e.g. Doc, Email, Excel, Label, SMS or PDF. Fig.4 (2)
Selecting Doc, PDF, Email, Label & SMS will take you to the Editor which allows you to set the format for the merge using merge fields. Doc allows you to edit the document when created, PDF does not (see 'Word/PDF merge page'), and emails will be sent directly from the system 'Sending an E-mail shot' ). Labels use a pre-set template to create a Word doc to print. SMS will be sent directly from the system.
Selecting Excel allows you to select which fields to export.
