Use quick Search to search contact or company Fig.1 Select from drop down with mouse and click 'Load' or use arrow keys to navigate to record and press 'Enter' on your keyboard twice
Click the appropriate field and update information and click 'Save' Fig.2.
To add a new contact to an existing record, left click 'Add contact' Fig.3. Complete the new tab - address and telephone number will be copied from the previous contact but can be overwritten. Click 'Save'. If you navigate away without saving your new contact will not be saved.
The Key contact is denoted by a key next to their name. If the new contact is the Key contact, click 'Key contact' and click 'Save'. Fig.4
Company needs to be removed from CRM: Tick 'Archive' on Company tab - a warning will appear to confirm that this will archive the company and all contacts. Click 'OK' Fig.5 click 'Save'. Fig.6
Contact left a company: If a contact has left a company or no longer be an applicable contact, you can archive the contact Fig.7. On the appropriate contact, tick 'Archive' on Contact tab and click 'Save'
If there is only one contact for a company, which will therefore be the key contact, you will not be able to archive that contact. If the company/contact is no longer relevent, archive the company, which will take the contact with it. If a new contact for the company is replacing the existing contact, first add the new contact, and then archive the existing contact. Doing so will automatically make the remaining contact the key contact if you did not select this when creating the new contact.
Contact needs to move to another company: If a contact needs to be transferred to a new company, click 'CompanyRemove' and 'Save' Fig.8. This will remove the contact from the company. You can then Search for this contact Fig. 9 and add it to another company, or create a new company for them Fig.10
