Using this tool you can search for multiple criteria.
Click Search, this might be on the menu or under Tools.Fig.1
There are multiple tabs at the top, allowing us to search that particular menu type. The default tab is 'Contacts' however this can be amended by YapCRM if a different default is preferred. Fig.2
Various filters can be applied to your search. The left 3 columns allow you to search fields on the Contact or Company tabs using logic such as Contains, Starts with, Ends with etc. and blank fields so you can type what you are searching for. Fig.3(1)
Using the top row of the middle columns, you can filter by a date range by selecting the date range in the two blank fields. Fig.3 (2)
The second row allows you to search by user. Fig.3 (3)
The third row allows you to search within groups or those not in selected groups and folders of groups if applicable. Fig.3 (4)
When you have set your Search criteria, click 'Search'. Fig.4 (1) This will bring up all records that meet your criteria. Listing the number of records, and if appropriate, how many pages. Fig.4 (2&3) These records can be sorted in ascending or descending order by any of the fields. Fig.4 (4)
If you click into one of the records, you can navigate through the list using the arrows without returning to the search page. Fig.5.
Please note: When you return to the search page, the CRM remembers the last page you were looking at of that Search. If you have applied multiple criteria and the CRM is not returning the expected result, click 'Clear' to start the search again.Fig.6
The fourth row of the search fields allow you to search as follows:
