Two Factor Authentication

An additional security feature, two factor authentication uses an app to confirm your identity. This is currently an individual user setup feature.
 

How to Setup Two Factor Authentication

• Click the person icon
• Click My Account Fig.1
• Click Account Settings

• Enter your password into the field and click Generate. Fig.2

• Download an app such as Google Authenticator or Microsoft Authenticator.
• Open the app and scan the QR code displayed on the screen. Fig.3.
• On the app a 6 digit code will be displayed.
• In your YapCRM, click Activate

How to Login

• Enter username, password and open up your chosen app. Fig.5
• Enter 6 digit code and click Login. Each 6 digit code will be active for 30 seconds, then a new code will be displayed. In the last 5 seconds the digits may turn read to indicate it is about to change to a new code.

Forgotten your device?

• Click Forgotten password & enter your email address - this will send an email to your registered account to enable you to reset your password. Fig.6.

To Deactivate Two Factor Authentication

• Login to Yap
• Click the person icon
• Click My Account
• Click Account Settings
• Click Deactivate 2FA. Fig.7
