th May 2018 the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) comes into force. This regulation affects all European citizens personal data – how it is stored, managed, used and citizens access to their data. This will affect all B2C businesses and some data held by B2B businesses.

V2 YapCRM
8 May 2018
Version 2 of YapCRM reaches EOL (end of life
) 31-Dec-2018.
This is due to a lack of regulatory compliance options for personal data to comply with GDPR.
We will be in touch with any clients who have users who still access YapCRM via version 2 to help manage a transition plan to version 3 over the next few months.
If your business is concered regarding GDPR please get in touch as there are a few transitionary steps that can be taken to adjust version 2 to help with GDPR compliance in the short term.

On Saturday 21st April 2018 we will perform regular maintenance and network updates; during this period you may find the service unavailable.
The London (.com) servers and the Seattle (.us) servers will be updated on Saturday 21st April 2018 from 20:00 to 03:00 London/GMT.
Email 'Reply To' ('Merge')

Sending a merge email to contacts in your CRM but need to specify for any replies from contacts to be sent to another individual? On the 'Schedule' page of the merge, you can now select a 'Reply To' email address when generating your emails. Please note - for an email address to be selectable, there must be a CRM user account associated with that email address.

EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)

From 1st May 2018 the new GDPR (
https://www.eugdpr.org/) regulations will come into force for clients operating in the European Union; this will affect B2C clients heavily and have some effect on B2B clients depending on the type of data they hold.
We will be adding a new section to the YapCRM.com website later this month detailing new features that will be added to help assist clients comply with GDPR.
We anticipate that these additional features will be available to clients from early March 2018 at the latest.
